Abstract

To improve the performance of the band-pass filter (BPF) and facilitate the adjustment, a novel 5G Wi-Fi BPF is designed in this article. The high-pass characteristic of half mode substrate integrated waveguide (HMSIW) and band-stop characteristic of modified complementary split ring resonator (MCSRR) are adopted in the BPF. In order to generate a notch wave, loading the spur line in the transition structure which can significantly improve the out-of-band rejection of the filter. The measured results demonstrate that the new BPF has the advantages of small volume, simple design, flat pass-band and high stop-band rejection.
