Abstract
In this paper, a novel method of the water level of precision measurement with two-pairs capacitor sensor is proposed, overcome the drawbacks of previous water level measurement systems. Traditional systems use a water level meter of capacity to measure a water level of liquid that poured between electrodes. However, this requires the priori knowledge about the permittivity of its liquid. However, in many cases, it is difficult to know this. To address this, we proposed a water level meter of capacity that need not the priori knowledge about the permittivity of liquid. The proposed meter sensor utilizes the capacitor of two pairs remove permittivity in formula of water. The experiments demonstrated that it measures the water level accurately. This paper presents the hardware and software design of the intelligent transmitter and discusses the technical means for the sensor to achieve low power consumption in practical applications. We believe that this configuration is a promising candidate in future.
