Abstract
As the incensement of information on internet at an explosive rate, search engines are applied more and more widely. In this paper, the basic notion about vertical search engine is introduced; vertical search engine is compared with comprehensive search engine; and the general structure of vertical search engine is given. Then page links analysis and topic correlation calculation of Web page is discussed, and the design of vertical search engine model based on these technologies is elaborated. It is guaranteed that web pages with high topic correlation are called back.
