Abstract

VAV (Variable air volume) air-conditioning system is an energy-saving and efficient form of air conditioning. In this paper, design and implementation of VAV air conditioning control system are studied, and a CAN-bus based VAV realization mode is established. First a variable air volume air conditioning system's overall structure is designed to form the control unit of the total system controller and the end of the thermostat and the VAV control system network topology was constructed by using master-slave structure. And then a flexible expansion method of VAV air-conditioning control system for the end of network nodes is given according to project needs. At last we design the hardware and software structure of total system controller and terminal controller of VAV air-conditioning control system by using the modular structure method. The proposed realization method has great flexibility and scalability and provides a theoretical guidance for VAV air-conditioning control system design.
