Abstract

According to the output characteristics of photovoltaic cells, a new type of single phase two level inverter is designed. That the inverter uses DSP as the central processor, it is based on the bipolar type topological structure. It is composed of Boost DC/DC circuit and inverter circuit which uses intelligent power module IPM as the main circuit. In conditions of switching low frequency and single polarity frequency-doubling SPWM wave modulate method, the IPM output voltage waveform THD meets specified requirements. This paper introduces the method of hardware device of the photovoltaic power inverter and the control of the inverter system in detail. Simulations for the inverter system are carried out and a developed prototype is tested. The experiment results verify the effectiveness of the designed photovoltaic power inverter.
