Abstract
Abstract. A kind of test-bed was designed to study the cutting performance of vine straw materials and to solve some problems, such as optimization of parameters of processing machine. There are three sections including mechanical system, measurement and control hardware system and software system in the test-bed. The mechanical system comprises cutting mechanism, conveying mechanism and frame. 3 kinds of cutting modes and 2 types of the knife are design in the cutting mechanism. The graphical programming language LabVIEW is used to complete functions of data acquisition and processing. The test system has the advantages of simple structure and easy operation. It is showed that some experiments to test the cutting performance of vine straw materials can be done, and the theory of vine straw crush can also be researched on the test-bed with the high reliability and the accuracy.
