Abstract
The response of micromechanical sensors is the difference in mechanical stresses on the surface of a sensitive element and depends on the location of molecules in the receptor layer. In this work, we show that the analytical signal of a micromechanical sensor can essentially, at least by three orders in magnitude, be increased if a rough receptor layer is formed on the surface of its sensitive element. Silver nanoparticles are proposed to be used to form this bulk layer.
