Abstract

this paper designs a sinusoidal signal generator applying a high level of integrated chip AD9851 based on the principle of Direct Digital Frequency Synthesis(DDS). Through parallel communications between STC89C52 micro controller and AD9851, corresponding frequency-phase control words are written to the AD9851 chip. In this paper, a 15MHz frequency, 45o epoch angle sine wave is taken for example. Detailed analysis of the realization process of the sine wave is presented. A Low-pass filter is used to reduce the interference of the high-frequency signals, thus a small distortion sine wave is obtained. The signal is connected to 10O load after power amplification. The effective value of output voltage is 7.2V, the output power is 5W. The circuit structure is simple and easy to control.
