Abstract

Cell-Selective Spider Silk Proteins In article number 2202660, Vanessa Tanja Trossmann and Thomas Scheibel design recombinant spider silk proteins to guide cell-specific materials interactions. The fusion of spider silk proteins with short peptides from extracellular matrix proteins such as KGD yield cell type selective binding, which enables the development of hierarchically organized tissues.
