Abstract

Programmable gain Instrumentation amplifier is a critical component used in most of measuring and monitoring instrumentation devices. It is a type of instrumentation amplifier; the important feature of an instrumentation amplifier is gain can be varied easily by changing the values of the resistor. This work was designed for amplifying small differential signals without changing the values of the resistors externally. The paper aims to design an instrumentation amplifier and convert the instrumentation amplifier into programmable gain instrumentation amplifier with the range of varying gain from 35dB to 50dB.
