Abstract
Real-time communication means that the system processes external events within a defined time. The system configures a PROFINET I/O system between S7-1200 PLCs. By configuring the I/O controller and I/O equipment, setting the transmission area, and establishing the variable table and monitoring table, the system realizes the data exchange between the controller I/O and I/O equipment by observing the data transmission changes in the monitoring table.
