Abstract

The problem of optimal sampled-data (SD) tracking system design is considered for the case when the reference signal is known in advance over an interval r. A rigorous frequency-domain solution is given on basis of the Laplace transform in continuous time. Formulas determining the order of the optimal controller have been obtained. Limiting properties of the optimal systems as τ → ∞ have been investigated.
