Abstract

Taking Biyuanshu oral liquid as an example, a dual-wavelength HPLC method for simultaneous determination of characteristic components of traditional Chinese medicine geniposide and baicalin in Biyuanshu oral liquid was established. Methodologies for specificity, linearity and range, precision, accuracy, and durability were validated and actual samples were determined. The results showed that the relationship between geniposide and baicalin was linear in the range of density 8.03~200.85μg·mL-1 (r = 1.0000) and 2.86~71.47μg·mL-1 (r = 0.9997). The precision of the method is good, the reproducible RSD is less than 2.05%; the recovery rate of the sample is between 91.69% and 107.66%. The experimental project is moderately difficult and can focus on different traditional Chinese medicine preparations, which can not only maintain a certain degree of innovation, but also ensure the success rate of the experiment. The project also can improve the enthusiasm of the students, and at the same time cultivate the scientific research literacy of the students, which is suitable used for open experiment teaching project of drug analysis experiments.
