Abstract

The aim of the research work involves the design of a nove12-e1ement CPA antenna and comparing its return loss in dB with W-shaped antenna. Totally 15 samples are considered for the analysis which is obtained using the G power tool by fixing the pretrained power and the error rate as 0.8 and 0.05 respectively. Group 1 is taken as a novel 2-e1ement CPA and group2 is taken as W antenna. The performance of the antennas was analyzed using return loss and the gain parameters. The 2-element circular patch array (CPA) antenna produced a gain of 5.96 dB and W shaped antenna with gain of 3 dB. From the analysis it is found that the return loss of the novel 2-element CPA is -28.20 dB at 45.43 GHz which is more significant (0.003 (p <0.05)) than the W-shaped antenna which has a return loss of -7.50dB. The designed 2-element CPA antenna shows significantly better performance compared to W shaped antenna.
