Abstract

Most of the existing inspection systems use contact equipment, which is inconvenient to install and has potential safety hazards. In this paper, non-contact measurement is introduced to realize the inspection of low-voltage cables. And a cable inspection system based on multiple-nodes interconnection is designed. Finally, the software and hardware of the inspection system are designed, and the system function verification are carried out. The experimental results show that the non-contact inspection system designed in this paper can reliably judge the wrong connection and disconnection of cable lines. The research results provide a new idea for the application of non-contact measurement technology in the monitoring of urban overhead or underground distribution cables.
