Abstract
A kind of cross-regional, cross-platform and multi-user optical terminal network management system based on embedded web server was designed to meet the need for optical terminal centralized monitoring and management in large-scale video surveillance system. ARM and Linux development platform was presented at first, and then discussed porting of Lighttpd, design of FastCGI and web front-end programme, at last the implementation of system information monitor programme was described. The B/S (Browser/Server) network management system makes equipment management personnel could monitor these optical terminals on-line with remote computer's browser.
