Abstract

With the development of industrial automation, the requirement of motion control technology in related fields has been constantly improved, which makes the motion control drive system develop continuously. In order to improve the real-time, motion accuracy, speed stability and synchronization of motion control and drive system, a multi-axis motion control and drive system based on Internet is designed. A heterogeneous multi-core structure based on DSP+DSP+FPGA is proposed. A multi-axis motion control driver is designed and the hardware of multi-axis motion controller is modularized. This design uses the Internet communication based on EtherCAT. Through the design of master-slave station and the control platform of DSP+DSP+FPGA, the synchronization, real-time, motion accuracy and speed stability of multi-axis in the system are guaranteed. The experimental results show that the multi-axis motion control driving system based on the Internet has the advantages of convenient connection, synchronization time at microsecond level, and good real-time performance.
