Abstract
The frequent appearance of switching disconnecting link in the electrical system leads a very large economic loss. A design of on-line monitoring system against ground wire based on GSM (global system of mobile communication) and SMS (short message service) was introduced in this paper. The configuration of the system, operating principle, the construction of the hardware, and the software design etc, were also given. This system realizes remote data communication and the real-time monitoring of ground wire site terminal. (4 pages)
