Abstract

In this paper a modified power interfacing circuit is designed with an added advantage of direct AC-DC Bridgeless boost operation and output voltage is regularized. This circuit avoids bridge rectifier level and instantly converts low AC signal to a needed DC output voltage signal. This modified interfacing circuit is a consolidation of boost and buck boost operation to condition positive and negative cycle of AC input voltage respectively. In this design input voltage 500mv is rectified, boosted and regularized to 3.3V and 5V DC. This could be used to power the low power electronic devices, Wireless Sensor Networks, stepper Motor, Wrist Watches, and Mobile Charges. It yields power conversion efficiency 71% size and power loss is minimized compared to standard interfacing circuits. Modeling is performed with the help of circuit designing software LTSPICE.
