Abstract

This paper presents the design of microstrip contiguous broadband diplexer by using dual-mode stub-loaded resonators. The diplexer is formed by two stub-loaded resonator filters operating at 1.36 GHz and 1.75 GHz with distributed coupling technique. A transmission zero for each filter has been created to improve the selectivity and output isolation. For a demonstration, a microstrip contiguous broadband diplexer with fractional bandwidths of 25 % and 20 % has been designed and implemented. The experimental results are in good agreement with the simulation predictions.
