Abstract

In view of the current situation of environmental monitoring of deep sea aquaculture, the requirements of environmental monitoring of marine aquaculture were analyzed. According to the working requirements and data characteristics of environmental data acquisition sensors, a network model based on wireless sensor network and communication technology was proposed. By constructing a network platform by means of two-level networking, a set of wireless monitoring system for marine aquaculture environment based on ZigBee and GPRS technology has been achieved. The wireless networking was realized by this system through ZigBee dual-direction wireless communication technology. Each water quality monitoring point formed a monitoring network, which converged to a node (gateway) through the ZigBee network. Through GPRS technology and remote communication with the monitoring center server, the real-time monitoring and transmission of marine water quality environmental data, and the processing, storage and management of environmental data were completed in the host computer. As a result, the monitoring and tracking of the deep sea aquaculture environment was achieved. According to the test results, the functional requirements for the collection and management of environmental data were fulfilled by the system.
