Abstract

Abstract Modem methodologies for integrated design, concurrent engineering and mechatronics allow intelligent machines implementation with performance improvement. In this work, one approach for design of intelligent controllers for robotics and production machines with permanent learning ability is presented. It allows to obtain evolutionary and cooperative system during their design and during their self lifetime. The system know-how increases with experiences, structuring and generalization of the knowledge base. During integrated design of the system controller the expert knowledge and analytical models properties are used to anticipate the system behavior and to establish the learning mechanisms. The knowledge base initiation is based on numerical and dynamic simulation results obtained during the design.
