Design of Highway Bridge Over Sava River in Belgrade Bypass

Abstract

Within the Maindesign of the second stage of the highway E-70/E-75, section “Dobanovci – Bubanj Potok” of Belgrade bypass, the Main design [3] for new Bridge over the Sava River was made. The existing bridge for the right lane of the highway, that is temporary used for both directions, was completed at first stage in 1999. Shortly afterwards, it has been destroyed by NATO air strikes, and then renewed and opened for traffic in 2004. New Bridge for the left lane of the highway, with application of contemporary materials and technical solutions, fully complies with the visual composition of the existing Bridge.
