Abstract
A compact eight-way waveguide power divider based on the E plane pucker magic T is designed in this paper, which has the characteristic of high isolation, phase balance and broad bandwidth. The optimized results show that VSWR of the input port of the power divider is smaller than 1.08, the isolation of the output ports is not more than -18dB, and the maximal phase difference between the two output ports is less than 4.5 degree in the bandwidth of 2.5 GHz. The errors analysis indicate that the power divider has a tolerance of ± 0.05mm, and it is easy to ensure the performance of the actual hardware.
