Abstract

MRI Systems are used for diagnosis of decease in humans which provide results in the form of images. MRI images provide details of deceases in human body. For better quality of images RF coils are used in MRI system. RF coils receive the signals of interest. RF coils can be of different shapes. This paper presents the design of hexagonal RF surface coil of 3T using Characteristic mode analysis. Simulations are carried out using EM package Altair Feko 2021.2
