Abstract

AbstractThis paper considers the problem of designing functional interval observers for a class of non‐linear fractional‐order systems with bounded uncertainties. First, interval observers for linear functions of the state vector of the considered system are designed. Then, conditions for the existence of such interval observers are established and an effective algorithm for computing unknown observer matrices is provided in this paper. Finally, numerical examples and simulation results are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design method.
