Abstract

In this letter, a novel dual-polarized frequency selective rasorber (FSR) with multiple absorption bands and multiple transmission bands is presented. The proposed FSR consists of a lossy layer and a lossless multi-bandpass frequency selective surface (FSS) layer, which are isolated by an air spacer. In the lossy layer, three parallel resonances can be generated by introducing rectangular spiral resonators on cross metal lines loaded with resistors. In order to achieve the same transmission frequency band as the top lossy layer, three square slots are designed at the bottom FSS layer. For demonstration, the proposed FSR is simulated, manufactured, and measured, and the measurement results are consistent with the simulation results.
