Abstract
This paper proposes an external balance and maintenance system and methods for power batteries to solve the problem of inconsistent maintenance at the end of the battery. By charging and maintaining the lower voltage battery cells, the battery voltage difference is reduced, thereby increasing the overall capacity of the battery, increasing the cruising range of the vehicle, and prolonging the life of the battery. At the same time, a fault protection design is carried out to prevent human wiring errors and mistakenly plugging and unplugging connectors, so as to prevent safety accidents caused by human operation errors such as the above.
