Abstract

Under the communication demand based on assisted driving, an embedded driving assistance gateway that efficiently and stably forwards vehicle-mounted data in combination with the characteristics of the CAN bus is designed in this paper. The CAN module receives and parses the data of each sensor, and sends out signals according to the destination of the data to realize vehicle control after the ECU controller performs the function control algorithm. In order to ensure the real-time performance and stability of CAN data forwarding in the assisted driving environment, the hardware is matched with high-performance automotive MCU (SPC58EC80E3) and CAN module (TJA1044). Time-division multiplexing is used to process event-type messages and periodic messages. The CANoe simulation results show that the embedded CAN bus has the characteristics of reliable performance, high real-time performance, and accurate data transmission. It highly meets the requirements of communication between various devices in the car.
