Abstract

The electronic control system is the core technology of hydraulic excavator and is vital for improving corporate competitiveness. An electronic control system with CAN bus was put forward based on the requirement of middle type excavator control system. The input and output conditioned circuit of control system and emergency circuit of excavator was designed. Suitable controller and monitor with CAN bus was chosen, and the control system and monitor system of excavator were designed in CodeSys and configuration software separately. PID control method was employed to adjust the pump's absorption torque based on rotate speed. Experiment with control method and without control was carried out. The result indicated that the rotate of engine was more stable under regulated PID control method than the rotate under work without control, which provides a foundation for further research on energy-saving.
