Abstract

The ferromagnetic resonance frequency can be tuned by the external electric field, for the magnetoelectric coupling effect of ferrite-piezoelectric laminated magnetoelectric composite. In this paper, a novel magnetoelectric meander microstrip line filter using the laminated magnetoelectric composite and meander microstrip line is designed and optimized. The filter can realized dual-stop-band in the external bias magnetic field or electric field, and it can be used in mobile communication devices to filter out two jamming signals with small frequency interval. The filter has small device size, high efficiency, low energy consumption and low noise. It also can tune two stop-bands at same time with one external magnetic field or electric field. Therefore, the filter has a good application prospect in the field of microwave communications.
