Abstract

The DSPTMS320F28335, which is utilized as the main control chip, aims to measure the system power factor and current voltage, control the switching capacitor, improve the accuracy of the capacity of the switching capacitor and reduce the regulation time. The hardware circuit of the system is designed and the experimental model is built. According to the experimental results, the reactive power compensation controller with DSP as the main control chip can quickly compensate the power factor to more than 0.9 even under the condition of load change and harmonic influence.
