Abstract
Object: A double resonant coil ferrite rod (DRCFR) antenna for RF energy harvesting in medium frequency (MF) band is proposed and designed using FEKO. Simulation results indicate that the far-field radiation strength of proposed DRCFR antenna is enhanced, and the receiving voltage of proposed DRCFR antenna is increased by 33.46% compared with a conventional single resonant coil ferrite rod (SRCFR) antenna.
