Abstract
This paper is divided into two parts, one on closed box baffles and the other on bass reflex baffles. A complete theoretical treatment will be presented including design charts for determining the power response as a function of loudspeaker constants, enclosure constants, and amplifier output impedance. Complete examples have been worked out for the two types of enclosures and are compared with curves measured in free-field and in a room.
