Abstract
DC motors are often used in many industrial applications requiring high torque, and different motor's torques should be necessary for different loads. The torque will not be sufficient to drive the heavy load for constant current control of a DC motor. Therefore, for wider range of current variations for the applications of DC motor, the load current is taken as feedback signal for the fuzzy controller, the suitable duty cycle will be obtained by fuzzy logic operations. The desired duty cycle is used as the input signal for the boost converter to change the load current. To realize the different driving torques for different loads, desired current of the DC motor is offered. Finally, the digital signal processor (DSP) is used to achieve the torque control of the DC motor for different loads.
