Abstract
This paper presents a novel wide-band microstrip antenna using tow symmetrical U-slots in the patch. The presented antenna occupies small size of 30 × 40 × 0.8 mm 3 which printed on an FR-4 substrate with a dielectric constant 4.3. A gap is printed on the ground plane to provide a better performance of the proposed antenna. The antenna covers the range of 2.1711 to 4.0531 GHz. The antenna can be easily fed using a 50 Ω Microstrip line feed, and it is suitable for WLAN, LTE and WiMAX applications. The Antenna structure is designed and optimized by using Computer Simulation Technology (CST) software
