Abstract

A novel multilayer inphase power divider with ultra-wideband behaviour and a sharply rejected notch band is presented. The proposed power divider employed a broadside coupling structure via a multilayer slot configuration and a single isolation resistor. One notch band is obtained by introducing one coupled folded stepped impedance resonator with metalised via hole to ground. Simulated and measured results show that the proposed power divider has equal power division with high stability of phase, low insertion loss and good return loss at the three ports across the band 2.7 to more than 11.0 GHz.
