Abstract
Four-quadrant detector angle errors affecting the accuracy of laser-guided system mostly, so algorithm design is the root of improving the accuracy in guidance system. In the traditional algorithm, the facular offset is educed directly by the approximate relation between areas in every quadrant and offsets in the two directions. It has high speed but large angle error. This paper puts forward an improved algorithm combining the interpolation algorithm and the traditional one, which firstly give out some exactly values by geometrical relationship and then give the interpolation curve in actual application, points on the interpolation curve are used instead of the actual values. The angle error of four-quadrant detector is limited 0.09°. At the same time, this paper gives out a typical solution, which is easy to achieve as well.
