Abstract

SF6 gas has been widely used in power system due to its excellent insulation and arc extinguishing performance. However, for a variety of reasons, there will be gas leakage, which will have adverse effects on personnel and system operation, so it is necessary to detect SF6 gas leakage in power system. In this paper, based on the comparison of the existing detection technologies, an ultrasonic SF6 gas leakage detection system based on multi-sensor is optimized. The system can be used for active leakage measurement, and the weak ultrasonic signal is amplified and filtered. After the relevant algorithm calculation, the processed information is sent to the information terminal for display. After testing, it has good performance and can complement other SF6 gas leak detection methods to improve the field leak detection efficiency.
