Abstract
The bandwidth limitations of the commercially available electrooptic light modulators have been reexamined, and it is shown that improvement in frequency response can be obtained by arranging several modulators in a proper configuration. Further broadbanding can be achieved by applying circuit techniques. Practical limitations of these suggested methods are also noted, implying the need for improvements in the modulators themselves.
