Abstract

The global trend of population aging is becoming more and more serious, and various chronic diseases have become the main cause of death of the elderly, but in practical application scenarios, medical and nursing staff cannot monitor the elderly for a long time at night, and it becomes difficult to collect various indicators of the elderly during sleep. At present, real-time personal status monitoring systems are receiving sufficient attention in personalized medical services. In this article, a smart mattress real-time monitoring system design based on ISO/IEEE 11073 standard is proposed. The smart mattress detects and monitors important parameters of the human body and is aware of the body posture and whether the person is leaving the bed or not. This smart mattress-based real-time monitoring system can perform effective and accurate measurements at night without medical personnel. However, this promising device has not been standardized yet. This paper provides the system design and 11073 protocol implementation ideas for the smart mattress, which mainly include domain information model, service model and communication model.
