Abstract
The immobilization of porphobilinogen deaminase, and uroporphyrinogen III synthase was achieved by reaction of each enzyme with BrCN activated Sepharose. The procedure provided stable, reusable systems which, combined with immobilized 5-aminolevulinic acid dehydratase, transformed 5-aminolevulinic acid into uroporphyrinogen III.
