Abstract

The test of complete blood cells plays a significant role in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. In order to take an immediate quantitatively measurement of red blood cells, platelets, lymphocytes, monocytes and granulocytes, as well as to realize the binary classification of white blood cells, we design a novel blood cell analysis system based on capillary centrifugation and stratification technology. Blue and red LED array are adopted as light sources, and one-dimensional images of the capillary can be got from the color linear CCD. By further analysis can we obtain the final nine parameters. In the paper, we mainly focus on description of the system’s working principle and the general design. Experimental results show that our system is of high accuracy and good repeatability.
