Abstract
AbstractIn this work, a novel microstrip bandpass filter with a wide stopband is proposed. With the assistance of an open stub, one modified open‐circuit coupled line with symmetrical feeding, a long transmission line, and a wide stopband with a sufficient rejection level can be achieved. Detailed design and synthesis procedures are provided. Good agreement between simulation and measurement demonstrates feasibility of the proposed filter. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
