Abstract

This paper is about the design and integration of a novel offshore aquaculture feeding system based on IoT and AI techniques. An intelligent feeding system with fodder volume control and throwing accuracy can not only reduce waste and labor but also improve feeding efficiency. The proposed feeding system is connected to a cloud providing the volume to feed which is predicted according to various on-line environmental data such as temperature and water quality. Furthermore, the fodder throwing trajectory is detected and controlled through AI vision techniques.
