Abstract
According to demand of the double anode magnetron injection gun for gyroklystron amplifier, many factors such as electrode shape, magnetic distribution, beam current, first anode voltage, second anode voltage influencing electron gun performance were discussed, The results show that the transverse longitudinal velocity ratio of beam will increase and trans-velocity will decrease when first anode voltage increases or magnetic induction at cathode decreases, when first anode obliquity changes lows and cathode obliquity changes higher, the transverse longitudinal velocity ratio of beam will increase and trans-velocity will decrease. Quality of electron beam will be improved by adjusting the distance between cathode and the first anode and the first anode voltage properly. A electron gun of the transverse longitudinal velocity ratio of beam 1.4 and the trans- velocity 4.5% was found by a great deal simulation using Egun program when the working voltage 65 KV and the working electric current 12 A.
