Abstract
This paper presents the design of a Partially Reflecting Surface (PRS)-Artificial Magnetic Conductor (AMC) based compact high gain Fabry-Perot Cavity antenna for CubeSat/SmallSat applications. The proposed antenna resonates at 10 GHz and produces Left Hand Circularly Polarized waves. The AMC ground is used to reduce the height of the antenna. Its compact size and high gain make it suitable for small satellite applications.
