Abstract

A new CAN control and a monitoring system of wing body mounted on the truck was designed. In this system, the monitoring consists of five cameras and a 7-inch touch monitor. The CAN controller consists of a master MCU and two slave MCUs. The master communicates with the touch monitor by RS232 and with two slaves by CAN, and acts as a core in the controller. The slaves lock and unlock the wing body and secure the working radius, sending data to the master via CAN communication. We utilized a commercial 5-channel black box system as the monitoring and developed a CAN communication platform for the CAN controller. We confirmed that the developed platform communicates with three slave and the master at 1Mbps.
