Abstract

A 94 GHz second harmonic complex cavity gyrotron is simulated and designed with operating at condition of low-current. The influences of electron beam parameters on interaction efficiency are also analyzed. The simulation results indicate that the output power of the designed gyrotron can reach to 16 kW with the beam efficiency of 32.9% when the voltage is 32.5 kV, the beam current is 1.5 A, pitch factor is 1.5 and the DC-magnetic field is 1.74 T.
