Abstract

In this talk, regarding to the design of compact filter, one kind of design method based on composite right- and left-handed (CRLH) structures is proposed. Aiming at different desired performances, this method initially starts from equivalent circuit and results in corresponding lumped elements, which are eventually transformed to structural parameters of the desired filters with different performance requirements. To demonstrate the validity of the proposed method, several kinds of filters such as wide stopband rejection, dual-band etc are designed, fabricated and measured. Good agreements can be observed between the measured and simulated results. This proposed strategy provides a valid and simple method to design different kinds of compact filters.
